Taking a Poll: Blog Metrics

Many of my readers write blogs and they read mine to get material on the fringe elements of society.  Yes.  Me.  The fringe of the fringe.  The bloke who is madly in love with his wife.  The guy with six kids by the age of 30.  Right.  The dude who talks more about sex than food, considering it as essential as the latter, if not exponentially more.

I'm trying to gauge the popularity of Incongruous Circumspection as I prepare to move to my author site, which you can still donate towards!

I have two questions for you, nay, three!... which you can either email me from the Contact Me tab above, or give your answers in the comments section below.

1. How many page hits per day?

2. Generally, what is your subject matter?
3. How many posts do you post per day?

Here are my answers to the questions:

1. Anywhere from 1000 - 1400 on average.

2. Poppycock, humor, life, religion, science, Clifford, mathematics, cold fusion, nuclear fission, Spinal Tap, feminism, why I hate cats, sex, sex, more sex, and even more of the same, plus additional subjects - usually about sex.  Hey!  It sells!
3. 1.5

That's it!  I'm really quite curious as to how my blog is doing compared to others.

Thanks,

I. C.

    2. Cognitive psychology, politics, philosophy of mind and identity, and my search for full-time employment.
    3. 0.28 post per day

A rather personal, contemplative blog. (-_^)

  2. 1. Right now, I have about 1,400 people a week read my blog, normal is about 1,000 or so. That would be an average of about 142 a day normally.

    2. Atheism/religion, cults and Christian extremist groups, and whatever I feel like really, last week I had a post on fried catfish, and St. Louis area culture (seriously)

    3. I can't post daily, too busy. I aim for about 4-5 posts a week, lately it's been 2-3 posts.

  3. 1. I probably average about 20-30 hits a day. Sometimes there'll be huge spike if someone stumbles upon my Jonathan Park reviews, but other than that, it's about 20-30 a day. A good month is if I get over 1000.

    2. I write about homeschooling, my thoughts on Christianity; I share recipes; I write book reviews and movie reviews.

    3. My aim for 2013 is to write one post a day. (And now I've probably jinxed it!)

  4. 1. How many page hits per day? - Depends. Before Christmas, I was running anywhere from 30 - 60, with a typical day in the 40 - 50 range; right now I'm running 20 - 30, but I'm not entirely sure what's changed.

    2. Generally, what is your subject matter? - Whatever comes into my brain. Bits of fiction. Thoughts on parenting. Mad Science. Zombies. Superheroes. Sometimes I even have serious topics, e.g. religion or social issues.

    3. How many posts do you post per day? - Generally one a day during the week, and every few months I'll throw in one on a weekend. These can be anything from filler - usually music - to extended essays or sequential stories.
