sleep in a bed with no kids.
I like the way you think. Emphasis on "sleep"!
Cabin with a cozy fireplace on the north shore sans kids.http://www.cascadelodgemn.comOld married couple with oodles of kids tip: When you first arrive: sleep first.
I think you should go sky diving.
You should call your sister from Europe and say "haha just joking, we'll be back in 2 weeks"
LOL! Love it misshester. Darcy..NO!
Sleep is overrated. Stay up super late and then sleep in. North Shore is too far for one night. Stillwater. St. Paul Hotel. Aloft in Mpls. Do the urban deal and then you've got great food and nightlife. We wanted to go to NYC for our 10th. But had a newer baby. And then Sept 11th was that year, and we'd have been in Manhatten ON THAT DAY. Thank you, God. :)So, this Sept is our 20th. We are going to NYC. Four days. Sleep is overrated in the city that never sleeps!Happy decade to a couple of goofy lovebirds. You two are awesome!
Great points, Jill! Thanks!
The first thing that came to mind:Whatever you do, use a condom.
Sorry Erika. That's like trying caviar. One and done.
Haha! Well, I was more thinking along the lines of any birth control.
One day I'll post about that. We have permanently dealt with the problem.
Ah, all bases covered, then. We dealt with that 7 years ago, too, but I always breathe a sigh of relief each month when "that time" comes. I've heard too many horror stories of vasectomies reversing.
My doctor's recidivism rate is zero. He does it a tad differently by looping the vaz over and then tying it with silk. I trust my life to him - literally. One more kid and I would have been institutionalized.
Glad you have the birth control debate settled:) Now, if your wife is the romantic type, my suggestion is finding a local bed and breakfast. I'm sure word of mouth would be the best way to go to find a nice one. And if "staying in" is what you are wanting, this might be a nice option. Congrats on 10 years!
Thank you all for the awesome comments and ideas. Jill wins this "debate" hands down. We're not the sleeping type (except in the morning until noon). We'll do just as you say. All the rest of you get an honorable mention except for Erika. Her comments make it obvious she has not read my past blog content. Thus, Erika, you get a runner-up to the group of honorable mentions. The ribbon is sort of darkish bluish whereas the honorable mention ones are purple. So, you can take consolation in the fact that, by color, you are closer to first than the rest - except of course, Jill.
No sky diving?! Where's your sense of adventure! ;)
