as a former Unitarian minister and 6-year hospice chaplain who was a Humanist the whole time, I love the luxury of sleeping in Sunday mornings and relaxed Saturdays NOT writing a sermon. Ah, life is good and for sure, there is more to life than religious obligation. More family time, too.
Well after 4 weeks of not going, I went for you. My cousin is here (CA) from IL. She goes to a Lutheran Church sometimes but not regularly. She commented to my Mom on how Catholic the service is. I don't see it but I guess if you go to a non liturgical church it might be. Anyway, she's just glad it's near 70 and sunny. Thank God for that.
